VIRTUAL BLOOD DONOR is a Humanity initiative by Online-Surgical wherein you can register as a virtual blood donor with your blood group & some basic details, this data is secured in our database with no public access to mobile No, email and address.
VIRTUAL BLOOD DONOR has designed a App for managing all this data and for use without any human interface in case of blood emergencies. Whenever a patient is in need for blood they can search for available donors in their area, town, district or state without access to phone or email of the donor & send a system generated sms free of cost which ensures no spam or fake messages, requesting for help with the searchers mobile number. If the registered donor is available he/she can decide as per his/her own wish to call back or help by what ever means possible.
This is an initiative to serve the blood crisis in india cos every day there is a requirement of approx 40 thousand units of blood but only half of the quantity is available, in contrast in countries like US post WTC disaster they are running on surplus blood. We may not match them but surely we can pledge ourselves to help in case of emergencies cos blood emergency can come to anybody anytime.
